Two big Obama news items this weekend. You've probably heard the first. Secretary Colin Powell endorsed Senator Obama for President over Senator McCain, a friend of his for over 30 years. Powell had good things to say about McCain, great things to say about Obama and scathing things to say about the Republican party.
In other news, the Obama campaign announced it raised $150 million in donations in September. The average donation was $82. I find that mind boggling especially when compared to the $80 million the McCain campaign has to spend in all of September and October.
